Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Trainer to build and drive capability across both Sales (HoReCa & Key Accounts) and Manufacturing/Operations functions. This role will be responsible for understanding business processes deeply, creating structured training modules, and delivering impactful learning programs that improve performance on the ground.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring that teams—from frontline sales executives to plant operators—are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills required to deliver on quality, speed, and scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

  • Work closely with Sales, Key Accounts, and Manufacturing leaders to identify skill gaps and capability needs.
  • Conduct field visits and plant immersions to understand real-world challenges and workflows.
  • Build role-based competency frameworks across functions.

2. Content & Module Development

  • Design and develop structured training programs for:
  • Channel Sales (HoReCa): BDEs, Team Managers, Regional Managers, National Manager
  • Key Accounts: QSR and FMCG/CPG-facing teams
  • Culinary Teams: Chefs and Mixologists (Mixos) for product demos and solution selling
  • Manufacturing Teams: Production, quality, and plant operations
  • Create engaging learning content including SOP-based modules, product training, sales playbooks, process manuals, and onboarding kits.
  • Develop blended learning formats (classroom, on-the-job, digital, video-based).

3. Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver high-impact training sessions across locations (classroom and on-ground).
  • Conduct induction programs, refresher trainings, and advanced capability-building workshops.
  • Facilitate product training, selling skills, negotiation, customer engagement, and process adherence.
  • Support chefs and sales teams in improving product demo effectiveness and solution selling.

4. Manufacturing & Process Training

  • Translate plant processes, SOPs, quality standards, and safety norms into easy-to-understand training modules.
  • Ensure alignment with food safety and quality standards (FSSAI, HACCP, etc.).
  • Train plant teams on process adherence, efficiency improvement, and best practices.

5. Evaluation & Effectiveness

  • Design and implement assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
  • Track impact on key metrics such as sales productivity, process compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Continuously refine content based on feedback and performance data.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Quality, R&D, and HR teams to ensure alignment.
  • Partner with leadership to roll out strategic initiatives through training interventions.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 6–10 years of experience in training/L&D, sales enablement, or operations training
  • Prior experience in food & beverage, FMCG, or ingredients industry is highly preferred
  • Experience training both sales teams and manufacturing/plant teams is a strong advantage

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong ability to translate complex processes into simple, practical training content
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, distributor management, and/or manufacturing operations
  • Content creation skills (PPTs, SOPs, videos, playbooks)
  • Analytical mindset with ability to measure training impact
