Position Title: Trainer - DSA & Placement Preparation

education. Our partnership with LPU focuses on delivering cutting-edge technical training in Data

Engineering and AI and, placement preparation to equip students for successful careers in

technology. We combine rigorous academics with practical, hands-on training and strong placement

outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role for an experienced trainer who combines technical excellence with strong

student mentoring. You will teach Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and placement preparation,

while owning student learning outcomes, engagement, and placement readiness. You are not just an

instructor—you are a trainer, mentor, and student success owner rolled into one. You'll work on-

ground at the LPU campus, directly engaging with students daily.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Data Structures & Algorithms Expertise

Strong command of fundamental and advanced data structures (arrays, linked lists, trees,

graphs, heaps, etc.)

Deep understanding of algorithm design, complexity analysis, and optimization techniques

Proficiency in at least 2-3 programming languages (C++, Java, Python)

Hands-on problem-solving ability and experience with coding platforms (LeetCode,

HackerRank, etc.)

Ability to teach DSA from fundamentals to advanced concepts with clarity

Placement Preparation & Interview Coaching

Demonstrated experience in placement training and interview preparation

Strong knowledge of technical interview patterns, coding challenges, and problem-solving

strategies

Experience conducting mock interviews and providing constructive feedback

Understanding of resume building, interview techniques, and placement landscape

Familiarity with current placement trends and industry requirements

Teaching Experience (Required)

Minimum 2 years of hands-on teaching or training experience in DSA, programming, or

technical subjects

Proven ability to make complex technical concepts accessible to diverse learner audiences

Experience designing or delivering structured curriculum with assessments and projects

Strong classroom presence, high energy, and genuine passion for student success

Student Experience & Communication

Strong ownership mindset for student satisfaction and learning outcomes

Comfortable working full-time on-ground at university campus

Clear verbal and written communication in English

Professional communication with students, faculty, and institutional stakeholders

Ability to identify at-risk learners and intervene proactively

GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Experience with AI/ML fundamentals or data science basics

Familiarity with online learning platforms and LMS

Experience in EdTech or university delivery programmes

Knowledge of data analytics or foundational data engineering concepts

Certifications in DSA, competitive programming, or technical domains

Experience building learning aids or student success tools

System design basics or advanced problem-solving experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRAs)

DSA & Technical Instruction

Deliver high-quality sessions on Data Structures, Algorithms, and coding fundamentals per

curriculum schedule

Design engaging learning materials, assignments, and hands-on coding exercises

Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback on student performance

Maintain current knowledge of industry-relevant DSA concepts and best practices

Placement Preparation & Interview Readiness

Lead comprehensive placement preparation: DSA coding sessions, mock interviews, resume

reviews

Conduct weekly mock interview drills and provide detailed feedback

Guide students on interview techniques, system design basics, and career readiness

Track student placement progress and coordinate with placement partners

Student Experience & Learning Outcomes

Own student satisfaction and learning outcomes end-to-end

Conduct regular student check-ins; identify at-risk learners and intervene proactively

Maintain high student engagement and motivation throughout the program

Provide 1:1 mentoring, doubt-clearing sessions, and career guidance

On-Ground Campus Presence

Maintain strong daily on-campus presence and availability for students

Ensure high attendance and sustained student motivation

Build strong rapport with students and support their holistic development

Coordinate with LPU stakeholders on student concerns and program requirements

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Maintain weekly dashboards on student progress, learning outcomes, and placement

pipeline

Track and report on key metrics: attendance, assessment scores, placement readiness

Provide timely escalation reports on at-risk learners or program concerns

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all documentation and data
