Role Overview:
The vision of CMR University is To nurture creative thinkers who will drive positive global change. This role is directly in line with the vision as it is focused on radically transforming the way students approach problem-solving. As part of the Dept. of Common Core Curriculum, the Aptitude Skills Team is focused on building competence in aptitude (three components: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Logical Reasoning) among students and equipping them with skills to ace standardized employability, campus placement drives, further studies tests (GRE, GMAT, CAT).
- At CMR University, PAT (Preparing for Aptitude Test) and MED (Mathematics for Everyday Life) under Aptitude Skills are being offered as a Graduate Requirement Course (GR). These courses are part of the curriculum which requires organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver training sessions effectively.
- Understand the requirements from the perspective of placement, and design content and training that would meet the needs of updating content and designing new courses.
- Ensuring all academic documentation like STE, IP, Resources, Marks progression, Attendance, Feedback form, etc. as per the on-going academic policy of CMR University are maintained.
- As a facilitator, the role demands a deep understanding of all modules of Aptitude Skills (Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability), and an ability to engage the class well - offering guidance and support to enhance their problem-solving skills.
- Assessing students performance objectively, providing constructive feedback, and post-training support.
- To guide and interact with students shortlisted in the campus placement drives and take inputs for content enrichment.
- Willing to take ownership of different duties cum responsibilities when assigned.
- The role may demand switching between online and offline mode (across campuses based out of HRBR layout (Head office/ base), OMBR layout, and CMR Lakeside Campus in Bagalur) of conducting training sessions- based on the need.
- You will work closely with the Aptitude Skills Team on the curriculum and coursework assessment - which is constantly evolving based on feedback from the sessions, altering it to suit the needs of every stream.
- Co-planning, scheduling, and conducting remedial classes (if required), Company Specific Training, Pre-placement Training, etc along with the Aptitude Skills Team.
- At the end of every semester, record and upload the assessments as well as other administrative details in the University ERP.

Education Required:
- A Bachelor's and Master's degree (in Engineering is preferred) or any domain is mandatory and preferred qualified CAT/XAT/GMAT or any other equivalent exams with top ranks/percentiles in the quantitative aptitude section.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching/training Aptitude Skills modules, with a proven track record of delivering effective training programs in a University/College recognized by AICTE/UGC and in a training institute/consultancy/company, is mandatory.
Skills Required:
- Having good presentation skills, good communication skills, and a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with developments in quantitative aptitude and test patterns of companies.
- Must have strong command over the topics Quants, Logical and Verbal ability to effectively utilize shortcuts and tricks.
