Job Description
We are looking for a
QA Test Engineer (Fresher) with foundational knowledge of
ERP systems who is eager to start a career in software testing. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants and developers to ensure the quality and reliability of ERP applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand ERP functional flows (Finance, HCM, SCM, etc.)
- Execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
- Validate ERP modules against business scenarios
- Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and QA leads
- Prepare basic test documentation (test cases, test scenarios, test reports)
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of ERP concepts (Oracle / SAP / NetSuite / Dynamics any)
- Knowledge of SDLC & STLC
- Familiarity with manual testing concepts
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation (preferred)
- Understanding of defect lifecycle
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Good To Have (Optional)
- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Opkey, etc.)
- Knowledge of ERP modules like Finance, HCM, or SCM
- Internship or project experience in ERP or QA
- Basic understanding of APIs
Educational Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech / MCA / BCA / B.Sc (IT/CS) or equivalent
- ERP or Testing certification is a plus
