Overview of the Role

The Project Management Trainee role is designed for highly motivated and detail-oriented young and dynamic individuals looking to build a career in Project Management within the EdTech industry. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in managing project workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking program deliverables, and supporting the successful execution of global online learning programs.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, demonstrate a process-oriented mindset, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers exposure to project management best practices, stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and program delivery while working alongside experienced Project Managers and business leaders.

The candidate will play an important role in ensuring seamless coordination across teams and maintaining high standards of execution for learning program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of online learning programs from initiation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, dashboards, and schedules in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Monitor project progress, dependencies, content readiness, faculty planning, filming schedules, and launch preparedness.
  • Prepare and maintain status reports, project updates, meeting minutes, and key project metrics.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Instructional Design, Learning Experience, Graphics, LMS, Operations, and Faculty Management.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, document decisions, and track follow-through on action items.
  • Identify, monitor, and escalate project risks, bottlenecks, and delays while supporting mitigation efforts.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure adherence to PMO processes, governance standards, and reporting practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives to enhance scalability and project effectiveness.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • MBA from a recognized institution; 0–1 year of experience (internships in Project Management, PMO, Operations, EdTech, or e-learning preferred).
  • Instructional Designers with 1–2 years of experience seeking a transition into Project Management are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ownership, accountability, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
  • Certification in Project Management fundamentals will be an added advantage.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Wrike, Airtable, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
