Key Responsibilities
- Assist in basic troubleshooting of laptop and desktop hardware issues (No Power, No Display, Keyboard, Touchpad, HDD/SSD, RAM issues, etc.).
- Support senior engineers with part replacement such as battery, RAM, storage devices, display panels, motherboard components, etc.
- Perform OS installation, driver updates, and basic software setup.
- Log cases accurately in the ticketing tool as per process.
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs, part usage, and system status.
- Coordinate with team leads for pending cases, escalations, and follow-up.
- Ensure systems are tested after repair and meet quality standards.
- Follow company processes and adhere to client SLAs.
- Maintain tools, ESD precautions, and safety guidelines.
- Provide on-site or remote support as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 12th Pass + Hardware Diploma / ITI / Graduate in IT or similar (Preferred).
- Basic understanding of laptop and desktop hardware components.
- Knowledge of OS installation (Windows/Linux basics) is an advantage.
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet timelines.
- Problem-solving attitude and customer-oriented behavior.
