Synopsis of the role
We're building the backbone of critical financial operations, and we're looking for bright, driven fresh graduates to join our Data Operations team. As a Data Operations Executive, you'll be at the heart of managing vast datasets for Microfinance Institutions (MFI), Retail, Commercial, and Employment Bureau databases. What You'll Do
- Data Guardianship: Becoming proficient in managing and tracking incoming data, ensuring its accuracy and timeliness. You'll also learn to generate essential MIS reports that provide key insights to our managers.
- Processing data files, performing data quality checks, and identifying rejections. You'll learn how to communicate these findings effectively to our data providers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Interacting directly with our data providers to resolve queries related to data accuracy, reporting, quality, and recency. This will sharpen your communication and problem-solving skills.
- Operational Excellence: Working closely with your team lead to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within defined timelines (TAT - Turn Around Time). You'll learn the importance of efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Relationship Building: Following up with non-contributing or late data providers and managing hanging or un-updated accounts to ensure our databases remain comprehensive and current.
- Process Improvement: Understanding and upholding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for data submission, escalating any potential breaches to managers a crucial skill in operational management.
- Teamwork & Communication: This role heavily relies on your ability to be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills. You'll collaborate daily and contribute to a positive team environment.
What Experience You Need
- A strong academic background in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business, or related disciplines.
- A genuine interest in data management and operations.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
