Job Description
Responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of systems that ensure safe
train operations by preventing collisions, derailments, and other operational hazards.
Develop and integrate Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Control (ATC), and similar systems.
- Perform system-level testing (FAT, SAT, SIL testing).
- Ensure compliance with safety integrity levels (typically SIL-2 to SIL-4 per EN 50126/50128/50129).
Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, or Railway Engineering.
- Simulators (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink for control logic)
- Signaling software (Alstom, Siemens, Bombardier tools)
- Data acquisition and diagnostic tools
