Role Description
We are seeking a results-driven Traffic Officer / Port Sector Expert to join a high-impact Project Management Unit (PMU) for a Transaction Advisory assignment in Visakhapatnam. This role is ideal for professionals who combine field-level operational expertise with the analytical skills required for infrastructure project modelling.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MBA (Any discipline) OR M.Tech (Any discipline) + bachelor's degree (Mandatory).
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in Port Planning, Port Operations, or Infrastructure projects.
- Project Expertise: Must have been involved in at least infrastructure projects.
- Preferred: Direct experience in the Port PPP sector (additional weightage given for multiple PPP projects).
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Supervision: Manage road and rail traffic within the port area to ensure seamless cargo movement and regulatory compliance.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to Traffic Studies, DPRs, and TEFRs (Techno-Economic Feasibility Reports).
- PPP Coordination: Support the bid process management and contract management for Port PPP projects.
- Process Optimization: Analyze traffic patterns to provide actionable recommendations for safety and efficiency improvements.
