What's The Role
The
Endur Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring Shell Trading & Supply business continuity through supporting our integrated eTRM landscape (Endur). In this role, you will be supporting our user communities involved in trade lifecycle processes which are executed through a complex, integrated IT system.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing eTRM (Endur) tickets and incidents, you will be accountable for the end-to-end resolution of the tickets including where support from other teams is required.
- Providing functional expertise and diagnosing functional/technical issues in the integrated landscape - thus experience in Trading & Supply is a must for this role
- Troubleshooting failures, performance degradation, simulation errors, and data issues - ensuring timely recovery of critical business processes.
- Working with projects and teams to enable safe deployment of changes throughout the change lifecycle – assessing, testing, and validating changes
- Working with suppliers in ensuring hosting and infrastructure alignment across components (e.g. Citrix, ADS, Grid, Oracle DB servers, and cloud-integrated services
- Maintain up-to-date service documentation, environment diagrams, operational runbooks, and technical standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Information Technology or related degree with minimum 5 years experience in Endur or ETRM
- Hands-on expertise with Endur (Openlink) functional modules and system workflows
- Solid understanding of supporting technologies (e.g. databases, performance analysis, and debugging)
- Experience supporting infrastructure is a plus (Citrix, Windows Server, ADS/Grid servers, and infrastructure dependencies)
- Familiarity with monitoring/event analytics tooling (e.g., Dynatrace)
- Knowledge of enterprise interfaces/technologies (e.g. Kafka, Tibco, SAP, AIS) is an advantage
- Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem solving mindset, particularly under time pressure.
- Clear communicator who can collaborate with operations, trading, risk, and infrastructure teams.
- Ability to work in complex, multi environment, multi region trading landscapes.
