About The Role
NexusTrade is an AI-powered trading platform with a marketplace where creators publish trading strategies their subscribers can copy. Aurora, our autonomous AI agent, can take a plain-English research hypothesis and turn it into a live, backtested strategy: no code, full research loop. Your job is to use it to find real edge and monetize it.
What you'll actually do
- Come up with research hypotheses worth testing: factor tilts, regime filters, rebalancing schemes, drawdown-based accumulation, momentum or mean-reversion ideas
- Test them end to end with Aurora: screen the universe, build the strategy in natural language, backtest across multiple market regimes, and optimize parameters
- Kill the ideas that don't survive out-of-sample or regime testing, and be honest about overfitting
- When something shows edge, figure out what it needs to get better: higher-quality data, additional filters, robustness checks. Work directly with the founder to get it
- Deploy winners to paper trading, monitor live performance, then publish to the marketplace
Compensation
This is a revenue-share role, not salaried. You publish strategies on the NexusTrade marketplace and set your own subscription price per strategy. Creators on the platform today price between $1.99 and $39.99 per month. You keep the creator's share of every subscription, and there is no cap on how many strategies you can publish. Strategies with strong, verifiable live performance compound: every backtest and paper-trading record is displayed publicly next to your listing, so real edge sells itself.
You'll thrive here if you
- Understand quant fundamentals: Sharpe and Sortino ratios, drawdowns, regime dependence, and why most backtests are lies
- Are intellectually honest and would rather kill a strategy than ship one that only worked in-sample
- Generate lots of testable ideas and move through them quickly
- Are comfortable betting on revenue upside instead of a guaranteed check
