Job Description

You are a strategic thinker passionate about execution of Private Equity operations, which includes client transaction processing, corporate actions execution, trade reconciliation, investigation of inquiries and provides support to front office and client-facing stakeholders.You have found the right team.

As a Trading Services Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the execution and processing of trade orders, ensuring the smooth operation of our trading and portfolio management businesses. Your work will have a significant impact within your team, contributing to the overall performance of our trading services. Your responsibilities span from supporting order execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all trade activities. You will leverage your developing knowledge of market products and automation technologies to optimize our operating platform. Your ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement will be developed in this role, as you work to enhance our processes and systems. With a focus on collaboration, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, while developing your influence and presentation skills to communicate data-driven insights and collaborate in impactful decisions. Your work will have a direct impact on our team's performance and the achievement of our short-term operational goals.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate capital call and distribution processes, including client notifications, funding instructions and wire execution.
  • Perform reconciliations of cash, positions and transactions across multiple platforms investigate and resolve breaks in a timely manner.
  • Support the onboarding and maintenance of private equity funds, including account setup/maintenance and data validation.
  • Monitor, notify and manage the corporate actions for Internal Hedge Funds and Private Equity on behalf of International Private Bank clients.
  • Manage invoice processing.
  • Prepare control & MIS based reporting for the process on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Independent validation of work performed by the maker.
  • Prepare and review fund statements, notices and reporting deliverables ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, automation projects and system enhancements to drive efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints.
  • Maintain robust controls and evidence for audit, risk and compliance reviews. Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Monitor and track workflow assignments, escalate issues as needed and ensure timely closure of tasks.
  • Contribute to team meetings, daily huddles and knowledge sharing. Support training and development of junior team members.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Understand the process end to end including upstream and downstream teams.

  • You are required to have strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to details.

  • Manage KPIs (key performance indicators) for the segment/group to ensure consistency in quality and timeliness of completion, data driven decisions for enhanced client experience.
  • Ensure daily checklist are followed & signed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Follow all relevant process controls and adhere to standard operating procedures.

  • Challenge the status quo of the process and suggest/contribute to process efficiency/automation.

  • Perform user acceptance testing as required.

  • Escalate issues promptly as per the Escalation Matrix.

  • Strong Client Focus: adhering to response time to client and maintaining high client satisfaction.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills: collaborate with and lead others by influence, to achieve objectives, with an aptitude for decision making and problem solving.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Understanding of Change Mobilization Tools (Alteryx / Xceptor / Signavio / Tableau) is an advantage

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and Understanding of Business Process Modelling
