Join our team at JPMorganChase, where you'll play a crucial role in managing the pre- and post-trading life cycle operations. Your focus on cash movements, funding coordination, and process improvements will be key to enhancing operational efficiency and driving success.

As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of pre- and post-trading life cycles across all asset classes, with a primary focus on cash movements in and out of client accounts and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts. You will coordinate with other business lines to ensure proper funding, applying your knowledge of trade lifecycle processes to identify and resolve issues while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. Your success will depend on your ability to actively listen, ask insightful questions, and establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as manage projects and influence outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of market products and emerging technologies, directly impacting the team's goals and performance. Job responsibilities
  • Knowledge of the technical infrastructure that supports the business & effectively utilizes infrastructure for daily tasks. Ensure all transactions are captured accurately and assigned to stakeholders with accurate MIS done.
  • Delivery management, cross depot stock movements - identify internal breaks, escalation and resolution of various types of breaks with root cause analysis,
  • Resolution of Cash and Stock breaks working closely with stakeholder teams across the globe
  • Cash and stock breaks management of internal books and records.
  • Continuously participate in projects involving new system implementation, process improvements, etc
  • Take ownership of work, problems, clarify issues / objections, and ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness
  • Working closely with the Business (Desk Heads, Global and Regional Business Managers) to understand their needs / priorities / issues
  • Work closely with technology partners to design the right solutions and implement requirements for future state, focusing on the priorities and efficiency saves.
  • Perform cost benefit analysis to propose optimum future process to the business
  • Requirements gathering for the build of the future state, clearly documenting workflows, E2E processes, controls along the lifecycle and new roles and responsibilities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 4 years of exprience
  • A strong control mindset and adherence to a high degree of business ethics
  • In-depth experience of global markets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in driving global initiatives and affecting change in a large organization critical deliveries
  • Ability to respond to a changing environment.
  • Be innovative and suggest system improvement capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask, ensuring the breaks are monitored correctly, breaks are resolved and MIS being sent to managers on deadlines.
  • Contributes to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in Economics or Industrial Engineering enhancing understanding of complex financial operations.
  • Experience in finance industry operations, demonstrating capability in managing and optimizing financial processes.
  • Proficiency in VBA, adding value through automation and efficiency improvements in financial operations.
