As a Trading Services Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the execution and processing of trade orders, ensuring the smooth operation of our trading and portfolio management businesses. Your work will have a significant impact within your team, contributing to the overall performance of our trading services. Your responsibilities span from supporting order execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all trade activities. You will leverage your developing knowledge of market products and automation technologies to optimize our operating platform. Your ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement will be developed in this role, as you work to enhance our processes and systems. With a focus on collaboration, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, while developing your influence and presentation skills to communicate data-driven insights and collaborate in impactful decisions. Your work will have a direct impact on our team's performance and the achievement of our short-term operational goals.

Job responsibilities
  • Settle client positions across global markets in coordination with street-side brokers.
  • Articulate complex concepts, drive strategic change, and leverage data and analytics to enhance processes, controls, and client solutions.
  • Facilitate timely settlements through proactive inventory management.
  • Process and release client payments to brokers and exchanges promptly.
  • Reconcile incoming wires and post funds to client accounts accurately.
  • Execute BAU pre-matching in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Agree trade and payment obligations with counterparties in a timely manner.
  • Perform pair-offs to reduce risk exposure.
  • Prioritize and closely monitor high-value trades, escalating issues as appropriate while minimizing CSDR penalties.
  • Collaborate with Middle Office to increase STP rates for clients.
  • Prepare and distribute client-specific reports maintain and validate SOPs on schedule, escalating deviations or TAT risks immediately.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or above in Finance/Operations
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in in reconciliation team to have good understanding of in Pre-matching, Settlements, Fails management, payments, break management, with familiarity in low code tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, etc.
  • Good PC skills including Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power point, Access)
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Able to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Analytical with ability to quickly assess situations and resolve complex issues
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and the overall trading process, with experience in trading services like order execution, trade processing, and risk monitoring, supported by previous experience in finance industry operations roles.
  • Strong relationship-building, influencing, and conflict management skills, with excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal abilities to resolve issues and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills, combined with an innovative mindset focused on continuous process improvement, and a willingness to be flexible in a team-oriented environment.
