We are seeking a Trade Support Engineer to join our Bangalore team. This role is key to providing front-line technical and operational support for our electronic trading systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line support and troubleshoot issues for electronic and manual trading systems during trading hours.
- Monitor trading platforms, exchange connectivity, and data flows to ensure reliability and uptime.
- Collaborate with traders, developers, and IT teams to resolve incidents quickly and minimize disruption.
- Maintain system documentation, incident runbooks, and assist with system upgrades and new feature rollouts.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or master's in STEM from a Tier II institution.
- Strong technical knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL, scripting (Python/Shell), and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Understanding of financial markets, trade lifecycles, and asset classes.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication for coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to support global markets.
