Our Client is one of the largest custodian banks, seeking for an experienced banking candidate to support their Middle Office Trades team on a 6-month contract basis.
Key Responsibilitie
- Manage and support the end-to-end trade lifecycle across Fixed Income, Equities, and FX products
- Perform trade confirmation, settlement, and post-trade processing accurately and within established service level agreements
- Monitor and resolve trade exceptions, breaks, and discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution
- Escalate trade-related issues where appropriate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve outstanding items
- Liaise with Front Office, Operations, Custody, Settlements, Technology, and other counterparties to facilitate smooth trade processing
- Prepare and maintain operational reports where needed
- Utilise Microsoft Excel and other operational tools for reporting, reconciliation, analysis, and issue tracking
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through automation, process improvements, and workflow optimisation
Requirement
- Min. Degree in Banking, Finance Economics, or a related discipline
- Prior 1-2 years experience in middle office, trade support, or trade settlements roles within a financial institution
- Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
