Role:
Execute shelf blocks, secondary displays, and MT end-cap activations to win at the point of purchase.
Track competition, monitor shelf pricing, and report insights back to the brand and commercial teams.
Support and implement the trade promotions calendar aligned to key festivals — Pongal, Diwali, Onam and beyond.
Assist in-market launches for new SKUs, supporting distributor readiness, trade education, and visibility deployment.
Coordinate with distributor networks and the internal sales team to drive secondary offtake and sell-through.
Help scale the wholesale channel through range selling and bulk movement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
•Min 4 years of FMCG trade marketing or field sales experience with a strong on-ground track record
•Working knowledge of the Tamil Nadu market — GT dynamics, key towns, and the distributor landscape
• Hands-on exposure to Modern Trade (chains, MBO) and Wholesale channels
• Ability to balance brand-building priorities with day-to-day trade execution tasks
• Field-first mindset — comfortable spending time in market, not just behind a desk
• Good communication skills for coordinating with trade partners and internal teams
