Job Description
As a Trade Lifecycle Specialist IV within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing moderate to complex tasks related to cash movements in and out of client accounts and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts. Your work will have a significant impact within your team, ensuring all trades are processed on respective platforms across all asset classes. You will leverage your expertise in a variety of work processes, applying advanced knowledge of policies and procedures to solve non-routine problems. Your role will involve working on escalated assignments, requiring you to apply problem-solving techniques and improve existing processes. Your ability to actively listen, manage internal stakeholders, create presentations, and initiate process improvements will be key to your success in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Apply a critical eye in evaluating existing processes and frameworks challenge the status quo and recommend solutions / enhancements to operating models and controls
- Understanding and working experience on Reconciliation Tool
- Understanding / working experience on the data validation controls (Feed Validation, Out of Proof checks, Static and Feed Maintenance)
- Should have managed migrations, onboardings and experience in Business User Testing during system releases
- Ability to publish metrics, dashboards and other reporting documents as per requirements
- Performing Cash and Asset reconciliations and research for any discrepancy
- Reach out to Custodian / Agent bank for breaks discrepancy
- Understanding breaks / exceptions and providing an analytical reasoning, accounting and other relevant details to the hubs / resolver groups
- Meet / Exceed all defined SLA's of the process (quality, TAT etc.) as agreed with the respective manager and as per the job expectation
- SME's to ensure that SOP's are up to date and trainings are in sync with the SOP.
- Understanding of Accounting Principles and Financial instrument (Mutual Fund/Equity.. etc)
- Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in managing cash and stock movements in and out of client accounts and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving techniques to resolve defined problems within the trade lifecycle.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to peers, managers, and stakeholders using standard office software applications.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes and propose solutions within the trade lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Prior Securities Operation will be beneficial.
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies that support process improvement and operational excellence
