As a Trade Support Analyst within the International Private Bank Middle Office team, you will be responsible for supporting a variety of products and trading activities, ensuring timely and accurate settlement and trade capture in accounting systems. You will operate within the EMEA settlements team, ensuring business activities are conducted in an efficient, controlled, and timely manner while meeting regulatory and reporting requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support trade lifecycle activities across products including Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Structured Products, and Exchange Traded Funds.
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades and proper recording in accounting systems.
- Perform daily operational controls with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation checks to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder communication, ensuring timely updates on trade status and issue resolution.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions at a legal entity level.
- Investigate and resolve trade‑related queries in coordination with custodians, transfer agents, and internal teams.
- Contribute to operational efficiency by supporting process improvements and transformation initiatives.
- Identify control gaps and process inefficiencies and support prioritization of transformation initiatives.
- Participate in automation initiatives using tools and support implementation of optimized process designs.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across functions.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high‑volume operational environment.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and exercise sound judgement in problem resolution. Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify and address process gaps.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Experience in trade support, settlements, or middle office operations within financial services.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and multi‑jurisdictional operations.
- Relevant experience in financial services or operations environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of transformation tools such as Alteryx, Python, or process mapping tools is advantageous.
