Trade Finance Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Trade Finance Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in banking and trade finance. The candidate will be responsible for leading requirement gathering, solution design, and stakeholder management across trade finance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements for trade finance products (Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Collections, Payments).

- Prepare detailed documentation including BRD, FRD, FSD, user stories, and process flows.

- Conduct Product Lifecycle Workshops (PLWs) and stakeholder discussions.

- Perform gap analysis and recommend system/process enhancements.

- Work closely with development, QA, and business teams for successful delivery.

- Lead SIT and UAT phases, including test case preparation and defect tracking.

- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and SWIFT standards.

- Provide production support and handle change requests.

Required Skills:

- Strong domain knowledge in Trade Finance (LC, BG, Collections, SWIFT messaging).

- Experience in core banking systems like Temenos T24 (R17+ preferred).

- Hands-on experience in requirement documentation and Agile methodology.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to Temenos Payment Hub (TPH).

- Basic SQL / Data Analysis skills.

- Experience in international banking or Middle East projects.

Education:

- BBA / B.Com / MBA (Finance preferred)
