Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for a diverse team of approx. 10 FTEs performing various RTB and CTB operational tasks with regards to clearing of trades on listed Futures and Options business executed on all major listed derivatives exchanges worldwide.
- Breaks/Client Query Resolution - Responsible for investigation and resolution of client or exchange breaks.
- New Product Rollouts - Perform UAT testing and management of new product roll outs and production releases.
- Complexity Reduction - Drive process improvements and enhancements.
- Ensure flawless client communication via the various channels used by the bank (recorded phones, email, Bloomberg, Teams).
- Risk management in the event of systemic outages impacting trade allocation
- To ensure LME trades are allocated and cleared within the regulatory timelines
- Identify and escalate any T0 issues immediately and escalate to the Desk and the manager
- To ensure processes are performed as per defined Key Operating Processes.
- To escalates unusual activity (high or low volumes or dollar amounts, new client activity, slow systems, delayed approvals).
- Awareness of risks attached to the processes and escalation of potential risks to senior manager.
- Contribution to intra and end of day monitoring of process checkpoints. To Investigate and provide guidance on issues experienced by the team members.
- To ensure processes are performed as per defined Key Operating Processes.
- To escalates unusual activity (high or low volumes new client activity, slow systems, delayed approvals).
- Work with internal stakeholders (Sales and Traders) and ensure the client trading profile is accurate.
- Ensure required 4eye checks are performed and documented diligently as per audit requirements.
- Capable of making decisions in challenging circumstances.
- Produce meaningful metrics to manage the operational processes effectively.
- Manage team to provide accuracy and timeliness in all processes performed and to always meet the high client satisfaction standards.
- Flexibility to work in the India night shift 7pm IST log in (US time zone) with a commitment for 3 years in the same shift.
Your skills and experience
- 10+ year industry experience working in an Investment Bank with listed derivatives clearing experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in European and US derivatives exchanges clearing in particular, London Metal Exchange (LME), CME, EUREX, ICE, LIFFE, Euronext, IDEM etc.
- Proficient with applications like LME Smart, GMI and Clearvision or FIS CD
- Previous experience of working in a stressful and high trading volume environment.
- Well-motivated and enthusiastic team player.
- Ability to multi-task and keep clear in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurate, thorough, and highly responsible with acute attention to detail.
- Displays insight and ability in identifying issues and helps to develop successful solutions.
