Introduction
CATTS is currently recruiting Trade Analysts to join our Regulatory Trade team in Jaipur, India. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a long-term role where they can build expertise in global trade management while working in an international environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support our customers global trade processes. In this role, you will prepare and review import and export documentation, coordinate with customs brokers, and ensure accurate and compliant customs submissions.
You will work closely with our international team of customs, compliance, and technology experts, gaining exposure to global trade operations and best practices. Teamwork, respect, and clear communication are essential within our company, and we expect you to collaborate effectively with colleagues, partners, and clients.
Responsibilities
Customs Documentation & Submission: Accurately prepare import and export entries following customer instructions. Submit customs declarations in the customs system or send detailed instructions to customs brokers as needed.
Process Execution & Compliance: Follow established daily processes and company policies, ensuring strict adherence to all customs regulations.
Communication & Issue Resolution: Actively monitor and respond to emails and messages. Escalate any client-related issues in a timely manner to provide fast, effective resolutions.
Meeting Participation: Attend and actively contribute to team meetings, sharing relevant updates and insights to support team objectives. Participate in client meetings as needed, representing our team professionally and ensuring client expectations are clearly understood and addressed.
Organizational Skills: Efficiently organize and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, complex environment to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in import/export entries is required. A background in International Trade is preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is a must, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to support seamless collaboration within a global, virtual team environment.
- Self-Management & Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Flexibility: Willingness for minimal or occasional travel as required.
