About the Role
The Railway Track Alignment Engineer will be responsible for various engineering tasks related to track alignment, ensuring quality and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designing and reviewing horizontal and vertical track alignments using PRT and Bentley Open Rail.
- Developing detailed layouts for crossovers, turnouts, and S&C arrangements.
- Collaborating with survey teams to validate and integrate field data into alignment models.
- Preparing alignment drawings, technical reports, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Providing technical support during construction and addressing alignment-related queries.
- Participation in design reviews and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Delivering quality, cost-effective alignment solutions and ensuring optimal interface design.
- Coordinate the project risks.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work independently and lead others, mostly junior colleagues.
- Able to suggest own technical solutions by him/herself to the technical leads in Sweden.
- Co-work with technical leads in Sweden and lead junior designer based in India and in Sweden.
- Perform and understand design work (drawings, models) and review others work.
- Plan, understand and execute calculations work and perform review of own and others work.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Exp. Required 4-7 year
Exp Required 8-13 year

Preferred Skills
Experience with PRT and Bentley Open Rail, Power Rail track, Civil
