For our group company, NKG India Coffee Pvt Ltd, we are looking for a
Traceability Executive.
The position will be based in Hassan and reports directly to Commercial Head.
Your Responsibilities
- Data Capture
- Collect and verify farmer details, lot IDs, and origin information (ERP).
- Maintain digital/physical records of procurement aligned with certification standards (e.g., Rainforest Alliance, NKG Verified, AAA, Café, Organic, Fairtrade Etc.).
- Process & Warehouse Traceability
- Monitor movement of lots through hulling, grading, and storage.
- Ensure segregation of certified vs. non‑certified coffee.
- Implement barcode/QR coding or ERP entries for batch tracking.
- Logistics & Shipment
- Track coffee lots through dispatch, container stuffing, and shipment.
- Prepare traceability documentation for clients and authorities.
- Liaise with logistics teams to ensure compliance with export requirements.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare traceability reports for clients (e.g., Nespresso, Starbucks, Tchibo Etc.).
- Support audits and certification inspections.
- Identify gaps and recommend corrective measures.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Food Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years experience in supply chain traceability, preferably in coffee or agri‑commodities.
- Familiarity with certification standards (Rainforest Alliance, Organic, Fairtrade).
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and digital traceability tools.
Skills & Competencies
- Detail‑oriented with strong record‑keeping discipline.
- Ability to coordinate across farmers, mills, warehouses, and logistics.
- Clear communication skills for client reporting.
- Problem‑solving mindset to address traceability gaps.
- Comfort with audits and compliance processes.
- Willingness and flexibility to learn and use third‑party and client software tools such as Osapiens, Enveritas, Nestlé Supplier Portal, OpenSC, etc.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in coffee or commodity export sector.
- Exposure to international client requirements.
- Willingness to travel to farms, mills, and ports.
- Multilingual ability (local language + English) for farmer and client communication.
