Job Description

Tasks

TQM Strategy Development:

  • Develop a comprehensive TQM strategy tailored to the specific needs and goals of the R&D department.
  • Define clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of TQM implementation.

Process Mapping and Redesign:

  • Analyze existing R&D processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in redesigning processes to align with TQM principles and best practices

Bring in TQM Culture:

  • Lead the change management process to foster a culture of quality excellence within the R&D team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate the vision for TQM and gain buy-in across the organization.

TQM Tools & Training:

  • Identify and implement TQM tools, methodologies, and quality management systems to support R&D projects.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate R&D staff on TQM concepts and techniques.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams, QM, LCM and other relevant departments to ensure the successful implementation of TQM principles.

Quality Audits and Assessments:

  • Conduct regular internal assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of TQM implementation & support in preparation for external assessments
  • Develop action plans to address identified deficiencies.

Qualifications

Bachelors (or) Masters in Engineering
