Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tourism Expert and Architect, based in Chandigarh. The professional will design and implement architectural solutions and projects catering to the tourism industry, integrating innovative approaches to architecture with traveler-centric considerations. Daily responsibilities include planning, drafting, and reviewing architectural designs, conducting feasibility studies, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and addressing the specific needs of tourism destinations. The role also demands a focus on sustainability, aesthetics, cultural preservation, and alignment with tourism growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in architectural design, planning, and drafting with a keen sense of aesthetics and functionality
• Experience in tourism development, including feasibility studies, strategic growth planning, and understanding tourism industry needs
• Proficient in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and advanced visualization techniques
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to integrate sustainable and eco-friendly solutions into architectural projects
• Knowledge of cultural heritage conservation and regulatory frameworks related to tourism and architecture in India
• Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field, with a focus on tourism development being an added advantage
• Prior work experience in the tourism, architecture, or urban planning sectors is highly desirable
