About The Role
CloudLabs is seeking a skilled TOSCA Automation Engineer (SAP) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca and hands-on experience in SAP test automation, including SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, and SAP Ariba.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for SAP applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery across enterprise environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support enterprise-wide testing initiatives, and contribute to scalable, efficient, and robust automation strategies for SAP-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using the Tricentis TOSCA Test Suite.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for TOSCA-based automation activities, including script development, maintenance, execution, reporting, and support.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, and SAP Ariba applications.
- Leverage Tricentis qTest and TOSCA Connect for test case management, traceability, and integration.
- Configure and utilize Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) for scheduling, managing, and optimizing automated test execution.
- Utilize Test Data Management (TDM) to create, maintain, and manage test data required for automation and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Integrate TOSCA automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps to support continuous testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with development, QA, business, and SAP functional teams to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with qTest or a similar Test Management tool, along with JIRA or equivalent defect and project tracking tools, is required.
- Create and maintain reusable automation components and to improve automation efficiency.
- Document test plans, test cases, test execution results, and defect reports in a process-oriented manner.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects effectively while ensuring high defect detection quality.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor to team members on TOSCA automation best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed global teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Test Automation using TOSCA.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience on SAP Automation using TOSCA.
- Proven experience in SAP test automation, preferably across SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, SAP Ariba, and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Expertise in Tricentis qTest and TOSCA Connect.
- Strong hands-on experience with Test Data Management (TDM), including test data creation, maintenance, and management.
- Hands-on experience with Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) configuration, setup, execution management, and monitoring.
- Good understanding of SAP business processes and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Experience integrating TOSCA automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Strong defect detection and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong documentation skills for test plans, reports, and system-level testing.
- Certifications: Completion of AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2, and AE1 Tricentis certifications.
