Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Tosca Automation Engineer with 46 years of working experience in
designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca. The ideal
candidate to have strong expertise in Model based approach, Test Case Design (TCD), and Test Data
Service (TDS), with additional exposure to DEX and CI/CD considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca.
- Create and manage scripts using Model based approach.
- Build reusable and scalable Test Case Design (TCD) structures for data-driven testing.
- Configure and manage Test Data Service (TDS) for centralized test data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and improve automation coverage.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed defect reports.
- Ensure adherence to automation best practices, standards, and version control processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 46 years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Model based approach, Test Case Design (TCD), Test Data Service (TDS).
- Experience building and maintaining automated regression suites.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps workflows, and test life cycle processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps.
- Experience using Distributed Execution (DEX) agents for parallel or remote execution.
Good to Have
- Exposure to CI/CD pipeline integration (Flex Deploy, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
- Experience with Tosca API Scan and API automation.
- Knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, typescript).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
