Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced TOSCA Automation Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts. The candidate will work closely with functional, business, and technical teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through effective automation and regression testing.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–8 years of overall experience in software testing, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
• Good hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for test case design, automation development, execution, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Tosca Commander, Tosca Modules, TestCases, TestStepBlocks, and ExecutionLists.
• Experience with model-based test automation and reusable automation design.
• Hands-on experience with Tosca test data management, buffers, parameters, and synchronization techniques.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in defect management and test management tools such as Jira, qTest, or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca.
• Build and maintain reusable automation components using the Tosca Modules, TestCases, and TestStepBlocks.
• Perform risk-based testing, regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end test automation.
• Work on Tosca test data management, test configuration parameters, and dynamic test data handling.
• Perform test automation for web-based applications, desktop applications, APIs, and databases, as applicable.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot automation failures and work with development teams to resolve defects.
• Integrate Tosca automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and test execution frameworks, where applicable.
• Execute tests using Tosca ExecutionLists and Distributed Execution.
• Maintain automation scripts and optimize existing test suites for improved coverage and execution efficiency.
• Collaborate with manual testers, developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Tosca API testing and database testing using SQL.
• Knowledge of Tosca Distributed Execution and execution monitoring.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience testing enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, or other complex business applications.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Tricentis Tosca certification.
