We are seeking an experienced professional for the position of Deputy Manager / Manager Mould Development at our R&D Centre in Noida. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Tool Engineering, with hands-on experience in large-size injection mould development, tool design, and cost estimation. Proficiency in CAD software (Pro-E/Unigraphics), injection moulding processes, and tool materials is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Injection Mould Development:
- Hands-on experience in developing large-size injection moulds (1000T and above).
- Expertise in mould design, development, and validation processes.
- Design Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in CAD tools such as Pro-E (Creo) or Unigraphics (NX) for 3D modelling and design.
- Tool Design & Troubleshooting:
- Strong understanding of tool design principles and practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in injection moulds during trials and production.
- Material & Machining Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of tool steels, alloys, and their machining processes.
- Familiarity with heat treatment and surface finishing techniques.
- Process & Machine Understanding:
- Sound knowledge of injection moulding machines and their operational parameters.
- Experience in optimizing moulding processes for quality and efficiency.
- Cost Estimation & Planning:
- Ability to estimate tool development costs and prepare budgets.
- Exposure to vendor development and cost negotiations is a plus.
