Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tool and Die Maker based in Mumbai/ . The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures. This includes interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating machinery, inspecting components for accuracy, and ensuring tools meet specifications. Collaboration with the production team and troubleshooting issues within the manufacturing process is also necessitated.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in tool and die-making processes, including machining, welding, and fabrication
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform maintenance and repair on tools and dies
• Knowledge of machinery and equipment operation and safety standards
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
• Vocational training or a diploma in Tool and Die making or a related technical field
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality in work output
• Need to know Progressive Deep Draw Design, manufacture and maintenance
• power press maintenance with grip feeder maintenance
• Lathe working
