We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker with expertise in mouldassembly, and precision machining. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and troubleshooting moulds, used in various manufacturing applications, including plastic injectionmould.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture: Read and interpret blueprints, CAD designs, and technical drawings to develop new moulds,
- Machining Operations: EDM, surface grinders, lathes, DRO milling machines, and other shop equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct dimensional accuracy checks to ensure precision standards.
- Prototype Development: Fabricate fixture jigs and prototype components to test and improve mold efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Work with engineers and design teams to implement improvements and conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews.
- Documentation: Maintain tool history, schedules, and breakdown
- Team Coordination: Supervise assistant tool makers and collaborate with production teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/ITI in Tool & Die Making, Engineering (NTTF, GTTC, KGPT, CIPET) or equivalent certification.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in tool and die making or plastic injection molds.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 per month (based on experience).
