We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, fabricating, and repairing tools and dies used in various production processes. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure that tools meet the required specifications and quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, fabricate, and repair precision tools and dies for manufacturing processes.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to create tools according to exact measurements.
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Conduct quality control inspections and tests to ensure tools meet required specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve tool designs and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-7 years of experience in tool and die making or a related field.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of machine shop practices and tools.
- Experience with CNC machines and programming is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen understanding of manufacturing processes.
