TM System Admin

Job Purpose

TM System admin position is responsible for

• Having clear concept and experience on Administration & management of Linux & Windows server.
• Hands on experience on installation, configuration & administration of virtualized platforms e.g. Oracle OVM, Hyper-V, VM Ware, etc.
• Install, configure, manage Linux & Windows server setup, deployment on dedicated & virtualized environment.
• Daily monitoring, maintenance, administration & patch management of multiple Unix/Linux/Windows systems
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience in IP networking and Routing, FTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, HTTP/S, DHCP, Syslog, Iptables/firewall etc.
• Ability to create scripts in Perl /shell to automate manual process.
• Knowledge & experience on backup/recovery procedure of Linux & Windows servers.
• Managing VA & Implementation of required security controls on Linux & Windows operating environment.
• Working with Application team to implement and support required component at OS level.
• Knowledge of different cloud service like Compute, Storage, network, Identity, security etc will be an advantage.
• Experience of provisioning and management of compute, storage, network, security, and other IaaS & PaaS resource on subscribed Public Cloud (OCI & Azure) will be an advantage.
• On-call support with 24/7, respond to alerts issued by our monitoring systems.

Supporting Actions

Management (System and OS life cycle management)

• Management, monitoring life cycle of business applications infrastructure and OS with patch management .
• Provisioning/de provisioning of system/OS per approved service request.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing system/OS issues with coordination by other team and business users.
• Patching/Upgrades as and when required as per agreed, process, time, and SOP.

Monitoring, Administration & Support of Ekaayan& Current ERP Applications, Database, Servers & Storage to ensure High availability & performance (Infra. & Operating system).

• System/OS Installation, configuration, and upgradation of EKAAYAN Infra.
• Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Diagnosing, and taking appropriate measure of Operating system as well Infrastructure includes Exadata, X-7 Server, ZFS storage & Commvault appliance.
• Setup & maintenance of logical access control & Security of business application & Databases which includes regular monitoring, recording, and reporting of any changes on system and OS.
• Participate in technical support of the ongoing planning, implementation, and operation of the Business application systems.

Operating system / platform Security, & Access Control Management

• Regular monitoring, recording, and reporting of any changes on OS.
• Implementation of defined Access control policy

Creating OS Users, managing passwords with LDAP.

• Implementation of Security controls as per organization policy & procedures.

IT Governance & Compliance

• Internal/External Audit & closure of Non-conformance & observation w.r.t. Business Application IT General Controls.
• Security Incident/problem root cause analysis and implementation of Corrective /Preventive actions.
• Implementation of ITGC controls is in place and do periodic review.
