The global automotive industry is undergoing a rapid transformation, driven by electrification, lightweighting, and stricter sustainability goals. As OEMs aggressively expand their Electric Vehicle (EV) portfolios, the demand for high-performance, lightweight materials such as aluminium extrusions is ever growing in each vehicle. In this dynamic environment, the Sales Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the Key Account manager by bridging the gap between customer requirements and internal capabilities. The position is strategically positioned to manage technical and commercial interactions for aluminium extrusion components used in EV platforms-including battery enclosures, crash management systems, and body structures and many components as the market opportunities are identified. The role demands close coordination with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain functions to ensure timely program execution, competitive RFQ responses, and superior customer experience. It also requires a proactive approach in handling customer queries, understanding evolving EV technologies, and contributing to long-term business growth with in both domestic and global markets. | |
