Job Description

  • Evaluate Specifications, Technical and Quality requirements and capital procurement items and obtain quotes.
  • Purchase planning, ordering and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate Terms and conditions ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements and INCOTERMS.
  • E/Digital tools usage (RFQ & Reverse auction)
  • Evaluate Tender responses in terms of Safety, Health & Environment, Quality and commercials.
  • Follow up for Import PO – freight, imports, EPCG, & Co-ordinate for custom clearance
  • Vendor management, feedback, evaluation.
  • Managing & effective collaboration with the team
  • Identification of new suppliers and development to ensure cost reduction / induction of new technology.
  • MIS reporting
  • Overseas procurement
  • Adherence to SG Purchase guidelines and SG COC.
  • Coordinating with finance team for processing the payments and addressing payment /other grievances.
  • Co-ordination on responsible purchasing
  • ECOVADIs/SMETA audits for the suppliers
  • Vendor evaluation (Yearly)
  • Supplier charter signoff
