TM IDCS & Apps DBA

Job Purpose

TM -IDCS & Apps DBA is responsible for

• Monitoring & Support of Identity management solution deployed for Ekaayan EBS, Orbit Analytics, Oracle Business Intelligence, iSupplier, Fusion Apps, and Bolton applications i.e. MDRM, ePermit, CLMS, CSCTS etc. for single sign-on and user life cycle management.
• Provisioning/deprovisioning logical access/roles of business applications users.
• Monitoring, support, administration , Backup & Recovery operation of Mission critical 24X7 Business Applications, Databases & system administration activities which covers Oracle ERP , SOA, ECC, Orbit, OBIEE , Oracle Integration, Oracle Identity & Access management used for various function like Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, manufacturing, plant maintenance , Planning & budgeting , Single Sign-on and User life cycle management.
• Facilitate system performance, stability, adherence to standards and increase user satisfaction by smooth delivery of services & support.
• Supporting high availability and support calls of Ekaayan Application and Databases within the agrees SLA timeline.

Supporting Actions

Oracle Identity management (For Single Sign-on & user life cycle management)

• Monitoring , administration & operational support of Oracle IDCS applications and its components on daily basis.
• Provisioning/de provisioning of user access as per approved service request.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing any issues IDCS SSO application reported by business users.
• Patching/Upgrades of IDCS components to address any bugs or issue encountered with IDCS application.
• Integration of new applications with IDCS Single sign-on to enrich end user experience.

Monitoring, Administration & Support of Ekaayan& Current ERP Applications, Database, Servers & Storage to ensure High availability & performance.

• Monitoring , administration & operational support of EKAAYAN Application & database.
• Cloning, Patching, Troubleshooting, Diagnosing and taking appropriate measure of Business Applications, Databases & Operating system as well Infrastructure includes Exadata, X-7 Server, ZFS storage & Commvault appliance.
• Supporting Implementation of policy/ procedure/guideline for DBA operations, Change Management, Access Control, Backup recovery & BCP-DR of EKAAYAN ERP environment.
• Monitoring DR Site.
• Operational support for logical access control & Security of business application & Databases which includes regular monitoring, recording, and reporting of any changes on database objects.
• Working closely with other team leads and their technical teams to ensure delivery of database services within the performance targets set.
• Assisting Functional and Technical team in resolving problems as per SR with Oracle support.
• Participate in technical support of the ongoing planning, implementation, and operation of the Oracle Business application systems.

Application/Database Security, & Access Control Management

• Regular monitoring, recording, and reporting of any changes on database objects.
• Implementation of defined Access control policy
• Creating Users, managing passwords, Assignment of Roles & Responsibility, Revocation/Termination for ERP Application & Database as per access control policy.
• Provisioning of reports for periodic review of Roles & Responsibilities.
• Implementation of Security controls as per organization policy & procedures.

IT Governance & Compliance

• Supporting closure of Internal/External Audit Non-conformance & observations w.r.t. Business Application IT General Controls.
• Security Incident/problem root cause analysis and implementation of Corrective /Preventive actions.
• Implementation of ITGC controls is in place and do periodic review.
