Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader in medical coding to oversee our coding operations in Egmore/Anna Nagar, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding and will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring compliance with coding standards, and maintaining high-quality coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of coding professionals to ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records.
• Review and validate coding assignments to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Train and mentor team members on coding guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding queries and discrepancies.
• Conduct regular audits and provide feedback for continuous improvement in coding accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in medical coding, with a focus on Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary: Will be matched according to previous salary and experience

Work Location: Anna Nagar/ Egmore, Chennai.
