Job Description
- 1. Design of Tools, Jigs, Fixtures & Gauges using CAD software (2D & 3D).
- 2. Process planning, manufacturing feasibility study, and machining sequence planning.
- 3. Verification of designs in line with established design standards.
- 4. Comprehensive costing of tools, processes, and related activities.
- 5. Troubleshooting during tool, jig, and fixture manufacturing as well as try outs
- 6. PPAP documentation and compliance, including PFMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Tool Design & Manufacturing from NTTF/GTTC/CTTC/IGTR or BE Mechanical / DME.
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in Press Tool, Gauge, or Fixture Design.
- Hands-on experience in Progressive, Draw, and Forming Tool Design.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal operations.
- Good understanding of tool manufacturing and design principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
