Job Title: Tizen / TeleOS Application Developer

Experience: 4–9 Years

Location: (Preferred: Mumbai)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tizen / TeleOS Application Developer to design, develop, and optimize applications for Smart TV and connected device ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Tizen-based application development, OTT platforms, and performance-driven UI/UX for large-screen environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Tizen-based applications for Smart TVs and TeleOS platforms

- Build high-performance web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3

- Design and implement TV-optimized UI/UX (focus navigation, remote interactions)

- Integrate video streaming services using HLS, MPEG-DASH, and DRM technologies

- Optimize application performance for low-latency and high responsiveness

- Work with cross-functional teams including backend, QA, and product teams

- Ensure compliance with app certification and publishing guidelines

- Debug and resolve issues using Tizen Studio and emulator tools

- Implement secure coding practices and handle app signing and deployment

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

- Experience in Tizen Web App Development

- Knowledge of Tizen Studio, packaging (.wgt), and debugging tools

- Experience with Smart TV app development and large-screen UI design

- Understanding of video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH)

- Familiarity with DRM technologies (Widevine, PlayReady)

- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend integration

- Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Tizen Native Development (C/C++)

- Knowledge of Linux-based systems and embedded platforms

- Exposure to OTT platforms / Media applications

- Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks

- Familiarity with IoT device ecosystems

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

TeleOS-Specific Expectations:

- Experience working with custom TV operating systems or OEM platforms

- Ability to adapt applications across multiple device configurations and screen sizes

- Knowledge of remote-control navigation models and accessibility standards

- Experience in app store submission, validation, and lifecycle management

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
