About the job:

We are looking for a disciplined and execution-oriented Time & Office Executive / Officer to manage factory HR operations, workforce administration, labour compliance, and plant administration activities at our manufacturing facility. The role will play a critical part in ensuring smooth factory operations through effective management of contractual manpower, statutory compliances, attendance & payroll inputs, hygiene, safety, and security standards.

The organization is a fast-growing food & beverage ingredients solutioning and manufacturing company, catering to leading HoReCa, QSR, and FMCG/CPG customers, where operational discipline, food safety, and workforce stability are critical.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Contractual Manpower Management

• Coordinate end-to-end hiring and onboarding of contractual workforce as per production requirements.

• Liaise with manpower contractors to ensure adequate staffing across shifts.

• Monitor contractor performance, attendance, and workforce deployment.

• Drive initiatives to improve contractual workforce retention and discipline.

2. Attendance, Time Office & Payroll Coordination

• Maintain accurate attendance, shift records, overtime, leave, and manpower data.

• Ensure timely processing and validation of payroll inputs for both contractual and on-roll employees.

• Manage shift rosters and workforce allocation in coordination with production teams.

• Maintain employee records and statutory documentation.

3. Labour Law & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all applicable labour laws and factory compliances including:

o Contract Labour Act

o Minimum Wages Act

o Factory Act

o PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity compliances

• Maintain statutory registers, records, and audit documentation.

• Coordinate inspections and audits related to labour and factory administration.

4. Employee Relations & Workforce Management

• Support grievance handling and employee engagement activities at the plant.

• Maintain discipline and adherence to company policies within the factory premises.

• Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new employees and contractual staff.

5. Hygiene, Health & Safety

• Ensure implementation and monitoring of hygiene and sanitation standards across the plant.

• Coordinate with EHS and Quality teams to maintain compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.

• Promote awareness and adherence to health & safety practices among employees and contract workers.

6. Security & Facility Administration

• Supervise plant security operations including gate management, visitor control, and material movement.

• Coordinate with security agencies for effective deployment and monitoring.

• Support overall factory administration activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Graduate in any discipline.

• 4–8 years of experience in Factory HR, Time Office, Labour Compliance and Plant Administration

• Prior experience in Food & Beverage / FMCG / Manufacturing industry preferred

• High discipline and attention to detail

• Strong execution orientation

• Problem-solving mindset

• Ability to manage shopfloor workforce effectively

• Strong integrity and compliance mindset

Other Details

• Role will be based at the manufacturing facility

• Requires flexibility to support shift operations and factory requirements

• Extensive interaction with production, HR, contractors, and security teams
