- TIG WELDING SUPERVISOR
- Experience: 4 6 Years in TIG welding supervision
- Education: Diploma or ITI (Diploma preferred)
- Skills: Good communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- CTC: Upto 8 LPA
- Welding Supervision
Supervise TIG welding operations on the shop floor.
Ensure welding activities are carried out as per approved welding
procedures and specifications.
Monitor welders to ensure proper welding techniques and safety practices.
Inspect weld joints to ensure they meet quality standards and drawings.
Ensure compliance with WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR
requirements.
Plan and allocate welding work to welders according to production
schedules.
Ensure targets are achieved within the required time frame.
Monitor productivity and minimize welding defects or rework.
Guide and support TIG welders and helpers.
Train new welders on proper welding methods and safety procedures.
Maintain discipline and teamwork on the shop floor.
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and PPE usage.
Conduct regular safety checks of welding equipment and work area.
Prevent accidents and unsafe practices.
- Material and Equipment Management
Ensure availability of welding consumables, electrodes, filler rods, and
gas.
Monitor the condition of TIG welding machines and tools.
Coordinate maintenance if any equipment issues occur.
- Documentation and Reporting
Maintain welding records, inspection reports, and daily production reports.
Report progress, quality issues, and manpower requirements to management.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure
smooth workflow.
