Company Description TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a global non-profit organization founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. Today, TiE has over 21,000 members, including more than 2,500 charter members across 61 chapters in 17 countries. Its mission is to foster entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, and community-building. TiE is dedicated to creating a virtuous cycle of wealth generation and giving back, with a strong focus on nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs. TiE Pune is an active chapter that supports founders and innovators through curated programs, events, and mentorship opportunities.

Role Description The TiE Pune Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune Division, responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring entrepreneurship-focused programs and initiatives. This role involves designing program structures, timelines, and outcomes; coordinating with mentors, speakers, and partners; and managing end-to-end logistics for events, workshops, and cohort-based programs. The Program Manager will oversee participant outreach and engagement, maintain program documentation and reporting, and ensure that each initiative aligns with TiE Pune's mission and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, budget tracking, and collecting feedback to improve future programs. The role requires close collaboration with the TiE Pune leadership team and the broader community to strengthen the chapter's impact and visibility.

Qualifications

  • Program and project management skills, including planning, coordination, timeline management, and stakeholder handling.
  • Community engagement, relationship-building, and partnership development skills to work effectively with entrepreneurs, mentors, and sponsors.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and professional email etiquette.
  • Operational and organizational skills, such as event logistics management, documentation, reporting, and basic budgeting.
  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms for event management, CRM, collaboration, and data tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, communications, or a related field; relevant experience in program or event management is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, startups, or ecosystem development and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Pune Division with a proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach.
