Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ticketing Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing ticket bookings, cancellations, and changes efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, preferably with Sabre expertise, and a strong understanding of the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ticket bookings, cancellations, and changes in a timely and accurate manner
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to ticketing, baggage, and seat selection
- Process amendments to existing bookings, including fare changes and route modifications
- Ensure that all tickets are issued correctly and in accordance with airline and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all ticketing activities and transactions
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
- Meet performance targets and KPIs set by the team manager
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (ticketing or reservations) in the travel industry
- Strong knowledge of Sabre GDS system (must have hands-on experience)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other GDS systems such as Amadeus or Galileo
- Knowledge of airline rules, regulations, and tariffs
