Role Description :
This is a full-time on-site role for a Ticketing Executive - Amadeus Expert based in Ahmedabad. The Ticketing Executive will be responsible for managing airline ticket sales, handling customer inquiries, assisting with booking and reservations, and ensuring smooth end-to-end customer service. Additional responsibilities include providing accurate travel information, resolving customer concerns related to ticketing, and supporting the sales team as needed to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize conversions.
Key Responsibilities: Ticketing & Operations:
- Handle end-to-end domestic air ticket bookings, issuance, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling.
- Work on GDS platforms (Amadeus / Galileo / similar) to identify best fare options and routing as per client requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to airline fare rules, policies, and ticketing deadlines.
- Cross-check passenger details, travel dates, sectors, and fare basis to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Manage IRROPS (flight delays, cancellations, schedule changes) and proactively support clients with alternate solutions.
Client Servicing :
- Provide prompt and professional support to corporate clients, internal sales teams, and walk-in / leisure customers.
- Communicate clearly with clients on flight options, fare conditions, baggage rules, refunds, and penalties.
- Deliver a luxury-service experience through responsiveness, clarity, and solution-oriented communication.
Airline & Vendor Coordination :
- · Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and suppliers for fare confirmations, waivers, group queries, and special cases.
- · Support corporate and group ticketing requirements in coordination with senior team members.
- · Assist in managing airline SLAs and compliance requirements.
Documentation & Reporting :
- Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions, PNRs, invoices, refunds, and client communications.
- Ensure timely updates in internal trackers.
- Support accounts and operations teams with documentation related to billing, refunds, and reconciliations.
Key Skills & Competencies :
- Strong working knowledge of domestic airline ticketing & fare structures.
- Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus preferred).
- High attention to detail with strong error-checking discipline.
- Ability to manage high volumes and tight timelines.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with a calm and solution-driven approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, accounts, and operations teams.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Graduate (any discipline); Diploma/Degree in Travel & Tourism preferred.
- 1–5 years of hands-on experience in domestic air ticketing.
- Experience in corporate travel / luxury travel will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to handling corporate accounts and high-value clients preferred.
