Position Overview
The Digital Hub India Team seeks dynamic individual to work in the digital ecosystem within the Digital organization. The Business Architect is accountable for developing business-enabling technology solutions that support Digital Strategy and Business growth. This role defines business solution architecture approach demonstrating advanced knowledge of information governance practices and standards and methodology for capturing the key views of the business unit, in collaboration with our business engagement leaders. Maintains expertise in the direction of the business functions in partnership with business engagement, to identify challenges and associated plans to advance business capabilities. Effective partnership and teamwork with business partners, their IT teams and all other Digital teams is a key success factor.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain industry developing Business Architecture utilizing EA Tools like LeanIX, Sparx, Orbus, Ardoq or any other similar platform/tools to enable and guide the design that meet current and future needs
- Configure and optimize integrations between systems to properly support the advanced manufacturing capabilities with AI-driven production management by working with the stakeholder systems team (ERP, PLM, MES, etc.)
- Analyze and anticipate project and product needs, collaborate with other IT thought leaders on solutions, challenge legacy assumptions, comfortable with ambiguity, and drive to see the big picture
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing system architecture with expertise in ERP systems and processes.
- Experience as an IT architect delivering solutions to diverse and complex business opportunities
- Deep understanding of enterprise data models, master data governance, systems integration principles and technologies in manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects
- Strong business acumen of Salesforce technologies, ERP, Supply chain, Finance & Treasury, ERP systems and processes, such as EBS Oracle, JDE, EFACS, SAGE, IFS to mention a few.
- Ability to communicate, influence and persuade both business and IT leaders, stakeholders, and peers.
- The business architect proactively and holistically leads and supports information technology activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes, and technology.
- The IT business architect clarifies strategic intentions, identifies business outcomes, explores implications, impacts, and risks, and addresses stakeholders questions.
- Helps business leaders and end users understand, apply, valuate, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models.
- Creates actionable deliverables that demonstrate how to move the business toward realizing its strategic goals and targeted business outcomes by combining knowledge of business capabilities, value streams, and business processes
