Thermal Simulation / CFD Engineer

Perform thermal simulation (or) CFD analysis on the assigned projects to support the product development. The responsibility also includes preparation of reports and providing necessary guidance to the concerned project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thermal simulation/CFD analysis for the assigned projects.
• Define the simulation models including the geometrical modeling, material properties, etc.
• Conduct steady state or transient simulations as required by the project needs.
• Interpret the results and provide inputs to the design team for improving the system performance.
• Automate the simulations wherever possible to reduce the analysis time.
• Optimize the simulation models to achieve faster convergence.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of thermal engineering and apply them to improve the simulation techniques.
• Contribute to the development of standard guidelines & methodologies within the department.
• Support other activities within the department such as process automation, data management, etc.
• Provide technical guidance to the junior members.
