The Technology Infrastructure Engineer supports Azure and SWIFT-connected infrastructure,
focusing on day-to-day operations, platform stability, and secure service delivery. This role works under
established architecture and standards, contributing to implementations, upgrades, and operational
support while developing deeper expertise in SWIFT and Azure technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Support Azure IaaS workloads used by SWIFT-connected applications and operational tools
Operate and maintain SWIFT Alliance Cloud and Alliance Warehouse platforms under
established designs
Support Azure networking components (VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways, Firewalls,
ExpressRoute)
Administer Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, Automation Accounts, and
Key Vault
Implement and maintain Azure monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics,
Alerts, dashboards, and Sentinel
Troubleshoot cloud performance, connectivity, and identity-related issues
Administer Windows and Linux servers (Azure and on-prem), including patching and system
hardening
Support virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V), storage, and backup solutions
Participate in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, CMDB)
Provide L2/L3 support, escalating complex design issues when required
Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and DR runbooks
Required Experience & Skills
4–10 years experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS
Exposure to SWIFT infrastructure and/or Alliance platforms
Working knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring concepts
Experience supporting production environments in regulated industries
Strong troubleshooting and operational discipline
