The SWIFT & ICSD Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting and managing post trade
operations related to SWIFT connectivity and International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs). The
role ensures efficient, accurate, and timely settlement of domestic and cross border securities
transactions while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: -
Support daily operations involving SWIFT securities messaging (MT / ISO 20022).
Manage and monitor ICSD related activities including settlement, custody, and asset servicing
with institutions such as Euroclear and/or Clearstream.
Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, IT, Risk) and external stakeholders (ICSDs,
custodians, SWIFT).
Monitor settlement flows, investigate exceptions, and resolve settlement breaks and fails.
Support corporate actions, dividends, and income processing for cross border securities.
Participate in SWIFT connectivity projects, enhancements, testing, and migrations.
Ensure compliance with market rules, ICSD standards, and internal controls.
Assist in preparing operational reports and management updates.
Contribute to process improvements, automation, and STP initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience: -
Bachelor's degree
4–10 years of experience in post trade operations, custody, CSD/ICSD, or securities settlement.
Hands on experience with SWIFT messaging (MT5xx / MT54x / MT56x or ISO 20022).
Practical exposure to ICSD services (Euroclear and/or Clearstream).
Solid understanding of equities, fixed income, ETFs, and cross border settlement models.
