TGT SST Teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess comprehensive lessons for Senior Secondary (Class 11‑12) students in the assigned subject.
• Implement CBSE curriculum standards and ensure alignment with the school's educational philosophy.
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and holistic development.
• Monitor student progress through regular assessments, assignments, and examinations; provide constructive feedback and remedial support when needed.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members, heads of department, and school leadership to design interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
• Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in accordance with school policies.
• Uphold the school's values of integrity, compassion, and commitment to quality education.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate degree (B.A./B.Sc.) in the relevant subject area.
• Professional Teacher Training Certificate (B.Ed.) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) or equivalent.
• Eligibility to teach Senior Secondary classes as per CBSE norms.
• Excellent command over English and Hindi (both written and spoken).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 2‑3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Class 11‑12) in a CBSE‑affiliated school.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate innovative teaching methodologies, digital tools, and project‑based learning.
• Experience in preparing students for board examinations with a track record of good results.
• Active involvement in co‑curricular and extracurricular initiatives is a plus.
